At Rocking Z, we're raising Missouri Foxtrotters and gaited mules out of gaited spotted Mammoth Jacks. Our primary goal is to raise gentle, friendly, level-headed gaited mules and foxtrotters. Foxtrotters are easy going horses, both in gait and attitude. They're an all around using type horse with tremendous versatility. If you've never rode the sure footed foxtrot gait, you will be truly impressed. Most of our mares are naturally three gaited showing a flat foot walk, foxtrot and running walk. We stand two gaited spotted Mammoth Jacks, a frosted grey and a frosted white. Gaited Grey Gus and White Wilbur both have the spotted gene and are long striding, loose moving jacks that can do a stepping pace. We use mammoth jack stock for both the height and disposition they give the mule. Mammoths, in general, are the calmest of the donkey classes. They are also the tallest, so you don't end up with a short mule. These jacks both have nice bone but are not drafty and will produce 15 to 16 hand medium boned, well mannered gaited mules out of gaited mares. There are numerous jacks out there but very few that have mammoth size, spots and gait. Combining the great traits of Missouri Foxtrotters with our Jacks we strive to produce an equine riding companion to take you trail riding, to a show, a team penning, whatever you want to do. Three gaited mule babies are due this year, two in May and one in August. We generally have a foxtrotter or two for sale as well. Please take a look at our web site and feel free to contact us for more information.

Thank you, Matt, Jackie & Garrett
